Ricordando Marvin Gaye: Sexual Healing, con testo e video

Il 1° aprile del 1984 veniva assassinato Marvin Gaye, cantautore tra i più importanti della musica Soul e R&B, proprio un giorno prima del suo quarantacinquesimo compleanno dal proprio padre.

Marvin Pentz Gay Jr. era nato a Washington (USA) il 2 aprile 1939, iniziò la sua carriera sul finire degli anni '50, raggiungendo la fama tra gli anni '60 e '70 con capolavori della musica R&B e Soul come "I Heard It Through the Grapevine", "Ain't No Mountain High Enough", "Let's Get It On" ed altre ancora.

Il suo ultimo successo fu "Sexual Healing", poi passò un periodo di grave depressione, i litigi con il proprio genitore divennero sempre più frequenti, fino a quel 1° aprile in cui perse la vita.

Marvin è stato un artista unico, capace con la sua voce e la sua musica di proiettarsi nel futuro come pochi altri, tanto che i suoi album sono tuttora ricercatissimi.
